How We Manage Product Recalls
When a product recall or safety issue is identified, Aussie Farm Supply may:
- Stop selling the affected product
- Work with the supplier, manufacturer and relevant authorities to confirm the affected products
- Contact customers who may have purchased the affected product
- Publish a recall or safety notice on our website
- Provide instructions for identifying, returning, repairing or safely disposing of the product
- Arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund
The action required will depend on the nature of the issue and the instructions provided by the supplier, manufacturer or relevant product safety authority.
What to Do if You Own a Recalled Product
If you believe you have purchased a recalled or potentially unsafe product from Aussie Farm Supply:
- Stop using the product immediately, unless the recall notice provides different instructions.
- Keep the product away from children, animals and other people who may unknowingly use it.
- Do not attempt to repair, modify, dismantle or dispose of the product unless instructed to do so.
- Check the product name, model number, batch number, serial number or date code against the recall notice.
- Contact Aussie Farm Supply for further instructions.
When contacting us, please provide:
- Your name and contact details
- Your Aussie Farm Supply order number, if available
- The product name
- The model, batch or serial number, where applicable
- Photographs of the product and its identifying labels
- Details of any fault, incident, injury or safety concern
Proof of purchase may assist us in locating your order, but please contact us even if you no longer have your receipt or order confirmation.

A product may be subject to a recall even if a notice has not yet been published on this page. If you have received a recall notification from a manufacturer, supplier or government authority concerning a product purchased from us, please follow that notice and contact us for assistance.
Reporting a Product Safety Concern
Please contact us promptly if you believe a product purchased from Aussie Farm Supply:
- Has caused or contributed to an injury or illness
- Has injured or placed an animal at risk
- Is unsafe to use
- Has an electrical, mechanical, structural or manufacturing defect
- Does not contain appropriate warnings or instructions
- Differs from the product described or supplied
- May create a risk of fire, electric shock, contamination or other harm
If there is an immediate danger or medical emergency, stop using the product, move away from the hazard and contact emergency services by calling 000.
Repairs, Replacements and Refunds
The remedy available for a recalled or unsafe product will depend on the recall instructions, the nature of the safety issue and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
A remedy may include:
- Returning the product for a full refund
- Receiving a replacement product
- Having the product repaired or modified
- Receiving replacement parts or updated safety instructions
- Safely disposing of the product as directed
You will not be charged reasonable return costs where a product is confirmed to be unsafe, faulty, incorrectly supplied or subject to a recall requiring its return.
